Cat adopts red panda
An Artis zookeeper's tabby cat has adopted and is nursing an abandoned baby red panda cub in Amsterdam. She's smaller than her "brothers and sisters," but if she survives she'll grow to be slightly larger than a cat.
The red panda is an endangered species - there's an estimated 2,500 red pandas worldwide.
This blog features stories and photos of unique animal friendships from around the world.
